NAVISION DEVELOPER

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Under the general direction of the Lead Navision Coordinator, the Navision Developer is responsible for providing technical and functional support for Microsoft Dynamics Navision on locations of all the entities within Clover Holdings EU LLC in Europe (Portugal, UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland…)

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs all duties assigned to the Navision Developer as outlined above.
• Acts as technical advisor to IT team on Navision issues they are learning how to resolve
• Responsible for testing and implementation of any code changes
• Responsible for source code/versioning
• Is responsible for keeping the Lead Navision Developer informed on progress of projects

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• 3+ years experience of software development.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV development experience.
• Experience supporting / implementing Navision (NAV 5.0 or higher)
• Familiarity with software development languages (Microsoft Navision, C/AL, C/Side and C/Front).
• Development experience with Microsoft development tools (.NET, C#, VB and SQL ideal)
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
• A strong desire to work in a team oriented environment requiring a high degree of motivation and focus on quality.
• Familiarity with software implementation methodologies
• Strong SQL development and database management skills
• Understanding of data relational models
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Possess excellent customer service and people handling skills.
• Two year degree in computer science or equivalent course of study.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in IT.
• Industry related certification desired but not necessary.
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English is essential.
